We are very happy with the driveway/walkway project performed by Rob’s company, Paradise Pavers. I chose Rob after an extensive online investigation of Punta Gorda area contractors. Rob came to our home and submitted an acceptable estimate within days of our Inquiry. Rob was very familiar with permit/inspection requirements from the City of Punta Gorda as well as the need to notify our HOA regarding the scope of the project. Our time frame was crucial due to the holidays and Rob assured us the he would do everything in his power to complete the project on time. Every phase went smoothly and the workers that came to the site worked diligently without any hesitation. Each was very courteous and respectful of us and our neighbors trying not to inconvenience anyone. Rob was on site daily and when the weather, (heavy rain), caused the loss of several days of work he was able to adjust the phases and completed the project on time and within budget. Working with Rob was a pleasure since he handled all issues eg: removal of all debris quickly, relocation of lawn sprinklers, removal of effected shrubberies and sod replacement. We would gladly recommend Paradise Pavers to anyone contemplating a similar project.

We are new to PGI and SW FL and found out how difficult it can be to have someone call you back here. There were 5 companies that came to look at expanding our patio. One company actually called back right away, the same day. It was Rob Mumford from Paradise Pavers of SW FL. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, and dependable. He got back to us quickly with a quote and provided us with many choices. He also gave us some great suggestions for landscaping that we will be using. It took weeks for some of the other companies to even submit their quotes. Plus, they didn’t seem to have the expertise that Rob had, and they wanted to use the cheapest materials (and charge us about the same price or higher than what we paid for this project with Paradise Pavers). Paradise Pavers just completed our patio expansion yesterday. It looks beautiful! Their contractors also specialize in lanais, driveways, pool decks, walkways, pergolas, fire pits and more. Their workers were very professional, neat, and worked very diligently until it was completed. They were happy to make some last minute changes my husband (the engineer, need I say more) asked for while they were working. My neighbors loved ours so much, they are having Paradise Pavers expand their patio as well! We are very pleased, and very satisfied with the entire experience. They were head and shoulders above the rest!
My concrete driveway was cracking and I was about to contact a concrete company when a neighbor suggested doing pavers instead. I contacted several companies, and chose Paradise Pavers – and I’m sure glad I did! Everything happened as planned, and it’s like I have a new house! The pavers look SO MUCH better than concrete, and I’m trying to get all of my neighbors to contact Rob as well. It really does make the house look so much better. We had a wonderful experience with Paradise Pavers , We were vary happy with there work, Rob the owner came out and personally made sure the job was done to our satisfaction , We had major trouble with the Pool cage company, and Rob helped by getting his part done on time and done right, I thank him for that.
Ever since we purchased our house we wanted our pool deck to look nicer. This year we decided to take the time and money to make this investment in our house! After many contractors and estimates we chose PP for the job! We had our pool deck renovated and a small patio installed outside of our pool cage. The difference is brilliant and stunning. I am so happy that we had this company to help us transform our home. Rob is amazing, a true northern business man. He keeps the customer updated and stands true to his word. His team is very talented and work hard to get your job completed as fast as possible. All of these together in one paver/landscaping company?!! That is hard to find here in SWFL! Our PGI driveway before Rob and his crew came was cement with a dip near the road that was typically our own personal pond (or dried mud in dry season). Thanks to Paradise Pavers, we now have a beautiful paver sidewalk, driveway and front entrance! They changed the grade of driveway removing the dip, added box culvert for drainage, and widened drive by 2′. An oversight did occur as it was originally agreed to extend our sidewalk by 10′, but Rob remembered our conversation about this and took care of the issue promptly with no questions asked. His communication through the process was superior as we were out of town for part of the job. He even sent us pictures of the progress while we were gone which was a nice touch. It’s very clear that Rob and his team love what they do, and it’s truly a passion, not just a job. Thank you Paradise Pavers!

This is the first review I’ve ever written about anything but I had such a good experience that I wanted to share. The polite crew did an excellent job and as another reviewer mentioned there were no “surprises”. I stipulated that the job needed to be done before my daughters wedding and they came through even after I added on a rear patio area. Rob is a “straight shooter” and it was a real pleasure doing business with him and his company.

Great job ! This by far is the best contractor I have worked with. They went out of there way to make sure we where happy. The pavers around are pool area are beautiful, the workmanship perfect. I would refer Paradise pavers to anyone looking for pavers around pool area or driveways.
My paver driveway is 15 years old and was experiencing a subsidence issue. several paver companies were contacted and Paradise Pavers was the quickest response as some companies never returned my call and others took over a week to respond. Rob came to my house the next day and provided an enthusiastic response and a competitive price. The work commenced a week later and was completed in one day to include the repair as well as cleaning, resanding and sealing the driveway and connecting walkways! Thank you for a job well done !
When we decided to have pavers installed to replace our concrete driveway and front walkway, we went with Paradise Pavers and are extremely glad that we did. Beginning with the initial visit of the owner Rob Mumford, we knew that we were dealing with professionals. We chose a paver to give an “old world” look and as they were thicker and heavier, they must have been a little more difficult to work with. It didn’t make a difference as everything went exactly the way Rob said it would. His men were all hard working professionals and the job began and ended on time, with the outcome as promised. Rob visited and kept in contact throughout the five day project. As a result, we couldn’t be happier!
